They hang around here in Alabama all winter- so it is one of the birds that is a regular visitor to the feeder. I think that they look quite dapper!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06657235685995551851noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6328734580676282566.post-63377904439071413812009-05-22T21:31:37.313-04:002009-05-22T21:31:37.313-04:00Nice photos! Here in Alaska we get the Black-capped, which is the northern version of the Carolina Chickadee, not really much different. What I like best about them is they stick around here all winter. Any bird that can handle 50 below temps gets an A++ rating in my book.Elainehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01801967071649685995noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6328734580676282566.post-5030945383678847362009-05-22T15:07:57.716-04:002009-05-22T15:07:57.716-04:00I just saw my first Caroline Chickadees in Ohio an...I just saw my first Caroline Chickadees in Ohio and West Virginia a couple of weeks ago.
